Jules + Kent Food Group is a division of Mad About Food Inc. Founded in 2000, Mad About Food has grown and changed over the years. Over five years ago, they began sourcing certain specialty food brands they'd found and felt their clients and other retailers could sell to their clients.
In 2006, they started a small specialty food distribution business, selling products they imported from the United States. They continue to distribute two of the original product lines – because they’re superb and we haven’t found anything comparable in Canada. Those lines are Rufus Teague and Black Ace Licorice.
In 2008, they created the Jules + Kent brand, and launched their first three products: Vegetarian Antipasto, Cranberry Cherry Citrus Sauce and Tomato Chutney. Since that time, they've added brands and have now developed twenty of their own products.
In April 2012, they moved into their own small scale production facility. Their own products have grown so much that they need the assurance of their own production plant to keep up with the business. Many of their products are inspired by the blueberries, cranberries, and peppers that grow in British Columbia. They hope to focus even more on locally-inspired products.

Peanuts with CARAMBA!: Chipotle Lime - Peanuts (peanuts, salt, coconut and/or canola oil), dried egg white, chipotle lime spice blend, sugar, peanut oil, lime oil, sea salt.
